Western Michigan University is home to eight academic colleges, 240 majors, and nationally recognized programs. Students learn academics in the classroom, and through experiential experiences. All student majors are encouraged to participate in internships or work/volunteer in their field of study prior to graduation.

Handshake is the student job portal where employers can post jobs, register for career fairs and events, and receive recruitment-related communications and invitations.

Each employer account and posting are vetted to ensure marketability and integrity.
