Engage on campus
Meeting with students is an important part of recruitment. Employer Engagement has options available to connect representatives with student majors they seek to hire for their talent pipeline in a variety of locations. Campus visit reservations scheduled through WMU Career and Student Employment Services are for the purpose of hiring and promoting career opportunities to students.
WMU commitment to employers: Employer Engagement will reserve a campus location and pay the parking fees for two representatives. Our team assists to promote campus visits on Handshake and markets them to college departments and applicable student majors at WMU.
Employer commitment to WMU: Since employer visits are promoted to students, we ask for your commitment to attend. Please arrange to have an alternate representative staff your session if you are not able to come. Students who plan to meet with you are disappointed if you do not show. Job opportunities discussed with students during your visit must be posted on Handshake, WMU’s student job portal.
Employer Engagement requires two weeks or more to process campus visit requests. Please complete and submit the reservation webform below.
