How to Become an Employer Partner
Career and Student Employment Services at Western Michigan University strives to balance the need for college-educated talent in multiple industries with the needs of students. Through internships, job fairs, panels and other activities, students learn the skills, employment expectations and opportunities available to them with their college degree.
You can help us bridge the world of work and the classroom by partnering with us on programming and campus activities. Students respond to you, the expert, when you paint a picture of what it is like to work for your organization and feel your excitement for your own career. Stories of success (and failure) resonate for our students.
Help us reach more students by supporting career programming at WMU. We need volunteers for panels, workshops and practice interviewing events. We need financial support, or in-kind donations for events, speakers, student trips and technology to insure our students are competitive in the marketplace.
Want to partner? Inquire about the Smart Hire Partner Program, which is designed to help foster networking opportunities with students based on your hiring effort, increase visibility and company brand on campus, educate students about available opportunities, and support student career education and programs.
