The Planning, Design and Construction department is responsible for planning, design and development of major construction project, renovations and remodels—including capital projects. Our process includes program review and evaluation, as well as project feasability studies. We provide project management services from conception of a project through construction and close-out for projects of varying sizes to serve clients across the University. Western Michigan University must ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as familiarity with the state-mandated LEED sustainability certification.
