About the show
As a component of Chicago’s Fashion Week, Fields Volvo Cars Northfield and FashionBar LLC invites you to join us for the presentation of the Modern Minimalist. This show will showcase collections inspired by futuristic designs by local designers whose garments are modest and understated. Please join us for an evening of hosted cocktail bar and complementary hors d’oeuvres as we showcase our Fall/Winter collection for 2018. In addition, we will be hosting our signature red carpet interviews which will be photographed and videotaped for marketing and PR exposure. Your attendance will also be benefitting Misericordia Home.

Avery Green
Avery is currently pursuing two degrees in fashion design and e-business marketing at Western Michigan University. For his current line, he was heavily influenced and inspired by his year long study abroad trip to Tokyo, Japan. While there, he took classes and participated in workshops on traditional Japanese sewing and dyeing techniques, which he incorporated into his designs. This is his debut line for Chicago Fashion Week and he is so thankful for having the opportunity to participate.
House of Pariah is an apparel startup for people who refuse to conform. For those of us who are unapologetically ourselves and deserve to be represented. We are the brand for those who want to reduce their impact on the planet while simultaneously serving look after look. Our garments are organized on a spectrum, just like we all are, and we refuse to discriminate based on size.
