Dr. Nassaney wins Excellence in Humanities Award

Dr. Michael Nassaney, Professor of Anthropology and a member of the Department of History, recently received the Merle D. Blue Excellence in Humanities Award.  The History Museum of South Bend, Indiana, makes the award annually to recognize the achievements of an educator who has made outstanding contributions to the understanding of the history of the St. Joseph River Valley.  Established in 1995, the award is named in honor of Merle Blue (1918-2005), a long-time educator and member of the Northern Indiana Historical Society.
