WMU and Aquinas College reach accord on accelerated BA/MA program
Under the agreement, completed on May 19, 2020, Aquinas College undergraduate history majors will be able to transfer or apply for credit by examination nine undergraduate Aquinas history credits of upper-division research courses toward the Western Michigan University Master of Arts in History degree. In addition, Aquinas students may be able to apply three more undergraduate credits by successfully completing a 5000-level history course at WMU while still enrolled full-time at Aquinas. Combined, Aquinas students may acquire a maximum of 12 credits that can be applied toward a master's degree from WMU, in a "4+1" agreement that accelerated an Aquinas bachelor's student's completion of a WMU Master of Arts in History degree.
