Western Michigan University's International Student Activities office facilitates regular and ongoing international activities on campus, such as an International Festival and a week-long celebration of International Education Week.
The International Student Activities office also plans numerous service-learning, cultural and recreational activities to help international students engage with the campus and local community.
The office is located in Ellsworth Hall, rooms 3516, 3521, and 3530. It is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Plan and host educational, cultural, and recreational events and activities to bring together international and domestic students for mutually beneficial cultural exchange.
- To assist international students in transitioning to U.S. university life.
- To help international students learn about the many resources available in the Kalamazoo community.
International Student Activities is subsidized by one-time, mandatory, fees, assessed at the university to international students (approximately $200 undergraduate; $185 graduate).
