Western Michigan University's International Student Activities office facilitates regular and ongoing international activities on campus, such as an International Festival and a week-long celebration of International Education Week.
The International Student Activities office also plans numerous service-learning, cultural and recreational activities to help international students engage with the campus and local community.
The office is located in 3110 Faunce Student Services (inside International Admissions and Services). It is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Plan and host educational, cultural, and recreational events and activities to bring together international and domestic students for mutually beneficial cultural exchange.
- To assist international students in transitioning to U.S. university life.
- To help international students learn about the many resources available in the Kalamazoo community.
International Student Activities is subsidized by a portion of the undergraduate international student fee and the international graduate activities fee.
