Spanish educator recognized for contributions to students with Distinguished Service Award

Dr. Mariola Pérez de la Cruz, master faculty specialist and undergraduate advisor in the Department of Spanish, will receive the Distinguished Service Award during the Fall Awards Celebration on Friday, Sept. 29.

Fall access improvements at health center explained

Cheryl TenBrink and Margaret Borton placed a great deal of value on education. In fact, that is a big part of why Borton arranged for the Frey-Borton Endowed Scholarship through her estate before she passed away in 2022. The scholarship was established for full-time undergraduate students enrolled in WMU’s College of Education and Human Development, and TenBrink is supporting it with a matched donation.
