DAVID W YOUNG – CLASS OF 1960
Military Science and Leadership
One time when he felt I should be out on my own he gave me 'the baby robin' lecture, "You're just like a big baby robin!" he said flapping his long arms like eagle wings. I got back in school and with his encouragement headed to Germany and landed a teaching job with the Air Force. I was determined to see all the places represented on the charm bracelet he started for me. I was his favorite, the most gullible in the family, always falling for his tricks.
