I would recommend taking the time to meet with a representative from the program and ask them your questions about the program and its philosophy. I finished my doctorate when I was a K-12 superintendent. Even though my job was incredibly busy, the professors I had were truly amazing. I appreciated the ability to research and the opportunity to apply what was being learned in real-time.
