MA in Special Education, Master Teacher - Behavior Intervention Specialist

The Master of Arts in Special Education Master Teacher Behavior Intervention Specialist program is designed for candidates who wish to pursue advanced preparation in positive behavior intervention and supports. Candidates included general and special education teachers, principals, school psychologists, school social workers, speech pathologists, or other ancillary school staff. Candidates benefit from a clinically focused curriculum that blends coursework with hands-on field experience.

All coursework is held online in a partially synchronous format. Synchronous class sessions are held in the evenings to accommodate candidates who are working full time in the schools. 

Note: This program does not lead to Michigan teacher certification.
