Gamifying travel at Intuit—As a new analyst at Intuit, Nathan Henckel, B.B.A.,'17, teamed up with three other employees to create a gamification process where employees earn rewards while the company cuts travel costs. Nathan credits WMU's rigorous integrated supply management curriculum, which includes data analytics and manufacturing engineering coursework, and hands on industry experience for helping put him on the path to Intuit.

APICS Case Competition—The WMU team of Kaitlyn Mrozowski, Clayton Nolley, Kyle Steinfeldt and Lojain Ahmed performed well at the regional APICS Case Competition in Chicago Feb. 23-24. The competition, provided by APICS in collaboration with Deloitte Consulting LLP, gives graduate and undergraduate student teams an opportunity to enhance and test their supply chain knowledge by working on end-to-end supply chain challenges drawn from company experiences.
