Student Sustainability Summit
2023 Student Sustainability Summit
About the Summit
The 2023 Spring Sustainability Summit encourages all Western groups to come together and celebrate their dedication to addressing the climate crisis in the past year. It will also bring together students from across campus to explore shared concerns around the broad theme of climate change from a holistic perspective where interest in the environment, politics, culture, economic, biodiversity, and social issues intersect.
We invite you to be a part of the 2023 Student Sustainability Summit and have your voice heard!
Students and groups not affiliated with traditional environmental interests are highly encouraged to participate. This summit will serve as a platform to share common concerns about the climate crisis, learn about the perspectives of our diverse student body, and prioritize actions that WMU could take that address the climate crisis and advance sustainability.
The 3rd annual Sustainability Summit is hosted by the 2020 Medallion Scholars with the support of the Western Student Association and the Office for Sustainability!
