The Art Exhibition Wall gives student artists the opportunity to engage with the environmental, social, and economic aspects of sustainability through art. The chosen works will be displayed at the Office for Sustainability from Jan. 2027 to April 2027.

Art Exhibition Liability Release Form

It is my intention to exhibit my artwork, in cooperation with Western Michigan University’s Office for Sustainability. I understand that the area where my work will be hanging or displayed may be unsupervised and is in a part of the building that may be open to the public during the day and evening. With this understanding, I release Western Michigan University’s Office for Sustainability, and its officers, from any liability for loss, theft, or damage to any piece of artwork or frame I submit.

In the event a query is made regarding purchasing artwork, the Office for Sustainability will share my phone number and email address. This agreement begins 12/07/2026 and terminates when said work is returned to me on 04/30/2027 if my work is chosen.

The Office for Sustainability reserves the right to terminate this contract at anytime for any reason. In the event the Office requests that the artwork be removed before the stated end date, I agree to pick up my work on the date and at the time and place specified by the Office. The Office will give 30-day notice of termination.
