Western Michigan University accepts payments by electronic checking or savings online. WMU uses a third-party credit card processor, Touchnet, to process credit or debit card payments. Touchnet accepts American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard. A convenience fee of 2.85 percent or $3, whichever is larger, is charged by Touchnet to process the transaction. Credit or debit card payments on student accounts can only be made online.
Students: Log in to GoWMU using your Bronco NetID and password and select the Payment and Account Information channel. Authorized users: Make payments at wapps.wmich.edu/authuser.
Students may establish authorized users to access their account information. Students will need their Bronco NetID and password to set up authorized users in the Payment and Account Information channel in GoWMU. Once the student has established the authorized user, information will be sent to the authorized user via email regarding accessing the account.

ELECTRONIC CHECK PROCESSING
Checks directly received at Western Michigan University will be securely processed electronically, under the rules governed by the National Automated Clearing House Association and the Federal Reserve Bank. Your cancelled checks will not be returned. The transaction will appear on your bank statement. Sending payment by check constitutes acceptance of these terms.
MESP and 529 savings accounts
Students who have MESP or other existing 529 College Savings plans should contact their plan administrators for information on making withdrawals. Checks should be issued to WMU and mailed to:

We are not able to accept ACH transfer from business accounts, ACH transfers from 529 plans will not be successful.
INTERNATIONAL WIRE TRANSFER
Western Michigan University has partnered with Flywire to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students. Flywire offers excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency in most cases and save a significant amount of money, compared to traditional banks. You will be able to track the progress of your payment throughout the transfer process via a student dashboard and you will also be notified via email when your payment is received by Western Michigan University.

DROP BOXES
Two drop boxes are available during normal business hours:
- Seibert Administration Building—outside cashiering
- Bronco Express service office in the the Financial Aid office in the Faunce Student Services building (student payment only)
Only payments made by check are accepted in the drop box.

Payments can be made to the Bronco Express service team, located in the Financial Aid office in the Faunce Student Services building .
