The Senior Director for International Students and Scholars is Retiring

Lee Ryder, the Haenicke Institute for Global Education's Senior Director for International Students and Scholars, is retiring on May 1. The Institute thanks Lee for her 15 years of passionate, dedicated service to WMU. In announcing her transition, Associate Provost for Global Education, Paulo Zagalo-Melo said that he is "grateful for her incredibly impactful work for our international students and scholars, as well as for the whole WMU community. Lee’s expertise, positivity, and kindness have contributed significantly to improve HIGE and WMU." She plans on remaining in the area and will certainly be seen around campus.
