Western Michigan University's Career and Student Employment Services offers a satellite office located within the Parkview Advising Complex at E-102 Floyd Hall. Although specifically serving students within the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, this satellite office is available to all students. Drop-in career advising is especially helpful to students who are looking for help with:

Handshake

Handshake is a web-based employment service that offers a variety of online jobs including: full-time, part-time, on-campus, internships, seasonal and temporary jobs. Students can use Handshake to:

  • Search and apply for jobs and internships
  • Sign-up for on-campus interviews and events
  • Publish resumes in online resume books

Career advising

Students may schedule a career advising appointment to review a resume or to discuss career goals with any career development specialist. Appointment locations vary.
