Join us for an online talk presented by Dr. Q. Edward Wang, Professor of History and Coordinator of Asian Studies of Rowan University and Changjiang Professor of History at Peking University in China. His book Chopsticks: A Cultural and Culinary History was well received broadly. This talk will analyze social, economic and cultural reasons for the ascent of chopsticks in East Asian history and their growing appeal in today’s world.
