Program information

The Youth and Community Development programs prepare students for careers in the out-of-school time sector and informal learning environments. Grounded in an ethic of family engagement and social action, coursework applies theoretical perspectives in child, adolescent and family development and addresses best pedagogical practices. It prepares change agents to transform communities through an intentional investment in youth with interdisciplinary coursework and community-based experiences.
