Michigan Geological Repository for Research and Education in the Department of Geosciences at Western Michigan University is directed by Dr. William Harrison. It has the most comprehensive archive of geological samples and data in the state of Michigan. The facility houses wells cuttings, oil and gas data, core analyses, mudlogs and thin sections. The repository focuses on student training, basic and applied research, continuing education and outreach programs in energy, natural resources and the environment.
