Geotechnical Research
The geotechnical research in the Western Michigan University Department of Geosciences provide training and research opportunities in soil mechanics, hydrogeology and engineering geology.
Facilities include the state-of-the-art Geotechnical Laboratory and field test sites where principles of slope displacement analysis and erosion remediation are applied and taught.
