Professional Instructor Organization (PIO) Part Time Instructor Opportunities
Mission statement
PIO‘s mission is to increase the economic, professional, social, and political power of non-tenured part-time faculty at Western Michigan University through collective bargaining and thus to improve the quality of education at Western Michigan University.
The Department of History at Western Michigan University occasionally seeks individuals to teach on a part-time basis. Part-time instructors who are appointed are eligible to join the Professional Instructors Organization (PIO).
