Spring ethics series begins with MLK panel presentation

WMU's spring ethics series kicks off Thursday, Jan. 25, with a panel presentation revolving around Kalamazoo's annual MLK Celebration. Dale Brown, WMU master's student in philosophy, will moderate.

Distinguished alumnus joins free University Symphony Orchestra concert

The University Symphony Orchestra will be joined by 2017 School of Music Distinguished Alumni Award recipient Alex Jokipii for a free winter concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 4, in Miller Auditorium.

University Theatre presents musical comedy 'Lucky Stiff'

University Theatre will stage "Lucky Stiff," a musical comedy by the same duo who wrote "Ragtime" and "Once on This Island," Jan. 26 through Feb. 11 in York Arena Theatre at the Gilmore Theatre Complex.

Dr. Laurel A. Grotzinger, professor emeritus of University Libraries and a former administrator at WMU, died Dec. 15 at age 82. No service information has been publicized.
