Bio:
After a few years of part-time teaching at WMU, I started teaching full-time in the Occupational Therapy department in 2018. I spent years in clinical practice in skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, home health, and a private clinic working with people aged 0 to 99 and beyond. I love seeing students connect the dots between the art and science of OT, and teaching them what it means to advocate for their clients.
Fun fact: I’m a Bronco through and through! I graduated with a bachelor of science in occupational therapy in 2003, a post-professional masters of science in occupational therapy in 2016, and a Ph.D. In Interdisciplinary Health Sciences in 2019 - all from WMU!
