Sociology Major (31 hours)
Required Courses (19 hours)
- SOC 2000 - Principles of Sociology Credits: 3 hours
- SOC 2820 - Methods of Data Collection Credits: 3 hours
- SOC 2830 - Methods of Data Analysis Credits: 4 hours
- SOC 3000 - Sociological Theory Credits: 3 hours
- SOC 3200 - Introduction to Social Psychology Credits: 3 hours
- SOC 4800 - Advanced Sociology Credits: 3 hours
Electives (12 hours; at least two must be at the 3000- to 5000-level)

Sociology Minor (18 hours)
Required Courses (6 hours)
- SOC 2000 - Principles of Sociology Credits: 3 hours
- SOC 2100 - Modern Social Problems Credits: 3 hours
The balance of hours required may be selected by the student, with the following limitations (12 hours):
- A maximum of nine hours transferred from a two-year institution may be included
- At least six hours must be 3000-level or above.
