Bio:

Prior to coming to WMU, I worked as an occupational therapist in both outpatient pediatrics and inpatient adult rehabilitation. I have also been a part-time instructor at WMU since 2018. I am passionate about improving the health and well-being of patients through participation in meaningful occupations. This carries over into the classroom where I enjoy helping students develop effective critical thinking and clinical reasoning skills to support their future practice as occupational therapists.

Fun Fact: I like to spend time outside hiking, gardening, and playing with my kids and dog. My in-laws live on a large property with sugar maple trees. We have fun as a family collecting sap and boiling it down into maple syrup during the “season” between winter and spring. When I find the time, I also enjoy playing strategy board games, reading a good book, and quilting.
