Michelle Suarez

I came to WMU after working for about 10 years in pediatric occupational therapy practice in school and outpatient settings.  I am passionate about caring for, teaching about, and doing research to benefit children with neurodevelopmental disabilities including autism and those that have experienced trauma. I have appreciated the opportunity that WMU and CHHS has afforded me to continue as an occupational therapy clinician while educating students and conducting research.  

Fun fact: I have two strong, smart, and kind daughters, a wonderful husband and a (mostly) sweet dog named Arie. I like to hike, spend time on the lake and when I can fit it in, I use my pottery wheel in our basement.
