Two students discuss a project in class

Learning Assistant Program

The Learning Assistant Program offers direct support to students by providing in-class assistance and weekly review sessions to explore course objectives and develop effective study techniques. In an in-person or synchronous online course, the learning assistant will be present in the classroom to assist the course instructor and students. In an asynchronous course, the learning assistant will be active within the Elearning platform to support you in your coursework. Each learning assistant will also lead three review sessions per week for students in their assigned section. The session schedule details meeting times and locations for study sessions.

Who should seek assistance?

The Learning Assistant Program is available to any WMU student registered in the offered courses, the details of which can be found in the review session schedule.
