With locations in Kalamazoo and Grand Rapids, these centers provide practical training opportunities for graduate students by offering affordable mental health services. These low cost counseling services are provided to children, adolescent and adult members of the community.

The Department of Counselor Education and Counseling Psychology is excited to announce that 100% of 2025-26 counseling psychology doctoral students successfully matched for Internships through the APA Postdoctoral and Internship National Matching Services.

Part-time Instructors Needed

The department is seeking for motivated and experienced part-time instructors to teach in-person, virtual, and hybrid graduate level courses. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about training competent, ethical, and culturally responsive counselor educators and counseling psychologists, with a focus on promotive inclusive, evidence-based practices in diverse learning environments.
