Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program
The Kalamazoo Promise Scholars Program at Western Michigan University works with students eligible for Kalamazoo promise and focuses on promotive strategies for achieving student-defined success. They provide academic support where each student is assigned to a mentor for one-on-one meetings. Peer mentor undergoes extensive training to serve as a mentor, tutor, and advocate for students who are awarded the Kalamazoo Promise. The program also provides student spaces for gathering.
