Bio:

I am a latecomer/late bloomer to geography.  I went back to school to get a Master's in Geography at 47.  I hail from Troy, Michigan on the east side.  After obtaining my Bachelor's degree from Western in my early 20s, I worked for a radio station in Ohio for three years.  Moving back to Michigan, I was a menswear and shoe salesman and continued to broadcast in the Flint area part-time.  After living in Florida for a few years, I went to Arizona and took classes in math, physics, and meteorology.  I came back to Michigan to be closer to extended family and eventually found my current home on the outskirts of Grand Rapids in 2005.
