This geography student club in the Department of Geography at Western Michigan University promotes and raises geography awareness on campus. The Geography Club meets regularly to discuss issues of mutual interests to geography students and plan activities including trips to places of geographic interest and sponsors National Geography Awareness Week.

The Geography Club meets every other Thursday of the month in the Berry Center Library located on the first floor of Wood Hall. 

Gamma Theta Upsilon

Geography students who meet certain academic requirements can become members of Gamma Theta Upsilon, the international honor society in geography. Society members are eligible to apply for scholarships, can network with other geography students and participate in several other activities.
