Teaching has been my childhood dream. I am passionate about teaching the subject of geography and strive to educate students about the subject. Pursuant of my aspirations, I have obtained a master’s degree in science (M.Sc. in Geography) from the University of Calcutta, India. I have also obtained a Masters in the Art of Education (MAED) from Pacific University, Oregon. I am currently a Doctoral candidate at the Mallinson Institute for Science Education (Western Michigan University) and anticipate graduating in 2026. My research interests include understanding the processes of conceptual change, cognitive processes of learning, and developing effective instructional strategies for meaningful learning. During my leisure time, I like to read, write, sing, travel, cook, and spend time with my family. I am married and have been blessed with two children who attend Gull Lake Schools. Family is an important part of my life. Their love and tremendous support had made all my career and academic endeavors possible. I am committed and dedicated to humbly giving back to my family and the community by serving them with the gifts and talents that I have been blessed with.
