Facilities Management project deadlines announced for FY26 end
Posted by Laura Kirkendall on May 8, 2026As we approach the end of the fiscal year and enter peak construction and renovation season, please note that new project requests may not be guaranteed for summer completion. The deadline to encumber project costs with FY26 funding is May 16. Be sure to note “FY26” on any Bronco Project Request where funds should be encumbered. Signed FY26 project budget approval forms, with "FY26" indicated, must be returned to the Facilities Management (FM) project manager by June 12.
On June 27, the Budget Office will receive from FM a list of projects eligible for encumbrance to FY27. This includes fund 11 projects that meet all of the following criteria:
- Funded by F11 that are not closed as of June 30.
- Have unused allocated funding.
- Do not have a F63 associated with the project.
Departments must ensure sufficient fund 11 balance as of June 30. These encumbrances will not appear in GLOW this fiscal year; funds will be returned next fiscal year to the same cost center.
