Temperature Setback - Holiday Recess 2025-2026

During the Holiday Recess closure, Facilities Management will be creating a heating set-back schedule for the campus. The schedule allows us to reduce energy consumption and adhere to the University's commitment to suitability.

The University Holiday Recess period is Wednesday, December 24, 2025 through Sunday, January 4, 2026. Exemptions to temperature set-backs will be approved under rare circumstances. Heating will be provided to areas with an essential need, e.g. animal or plant research. No space will be allowed to go below 55° F.

To ensure consistent and accurate responses, all requests for exemptions must be submitted by the building coordinator.

Please provide responses no later than Monday, December 1, 2025.
