Three rare campus trees named state champions

The biggest dwarf hackberry trees known to exist in Michigan are growing on WMU's main campus, according to official measurements taken for the Michigan Botanical Club Big Tree Program and National Register of Big Trees.

Dance group Pilobolus comes to Miller Auditorium

Groundbreaking dance group Pilobolus will perform at Miller Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 15. The group is also conducting a master class April 14 at WMU, which the public is welcome to observe.

Michael A. Myckowiak, retired regional director of continuing education at WMU, died Jan. 23 at age 89. Myckowiak joined WMU in 1973 and retired in 1984 after nearly 11 years of service to the University.
