Tricia Foster

Trish Foster PhD, OTR/L, is an occupational therapist and Associate Professor of Occupational Therapy joining the Occupational Therapy Department. Her research, clinical, and teaching interests intersect in the area of supporting young children’s engagement and participation in their home and school environments. As a pediatric occupational therapist Tricia has worked in early intervention, clinical, and school-based settings. She has published and presented her research on early intervention, home environments, and parent-child interactions with multidisciplinary teams in Michigan and around the country. Her most recent work is focused on building child and family resilience through regulation and relationships
