UASC Monthly Gatherings
Assessment as Ally – Monthly Gatherings
2017-18 Academic Year
"Getting Students to the Goal"
The late Dr. Steve Covey advised us to “keep the end in mind” during our daily lives in order to consistently focus on our purpose and goals. As an institution of higher education, our “end” is our graduates. Help ensure student success by learning and applying assessment tools in your teaching so that we can all continuously improve the quality of education WMU provides. The University Assessment Steering Committee is committed to helping you find the tools, learn the skills, and provide the support necessary to assess student learning in your class, department, and college.
Our monthly gatherings provide the opportunity to hear from UASC members on a specific topic within assessment for 15-20 minutes followed by casual atmosphere to learn about, discuss, and exchange ideas on areas of assessment of student learning. No RSVP is required.
