The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) delivers world-class geospatial intelligence, (GEOINT), providing a decisive advantage to policymakers, warfighters, intelligence professionals and first responders. Both an intelligence agency and combat-support agency, NGA enables the U.S. intelligence community and the Department of Defense (DOD) to fulfill the president's national security priorities. - Maintain NGA aeronautical databases and conduct stereo airfield collection
- Create digital aeronautical flight information files and flight publications for U.S. DOD flight crews
- Collect, maintain and distribute digital vertical obstruction files and maintain NGA aeronautical databases
- Engage in worldwide collaboration on aeronautical safety of navigation issues
- Provide worldwide aeronautical information, products, and services
