Update on Hilltop Village projects
Posted by Laura Kirkendall on October 15, 2024Construction of the Hilltop Village pedestrian bridge is complete. This new brown-and-gold structure provides an elevated crossing over a new road under development—Loop Road—between Arcadia Flats and Moore Hall.
Loop Road, which extends from Ring Road near Read Fieldhouse, past the student center, and back to Ring Road west of Arcadia Flats, is substantially complete. Remaining work, like new sidewalk expanses and landscaping elements will be finished by the semester’s end.
The new parking structure in this area is also nearly complete. Final work is awaiting the arrival and installation of electrical equipment, which has been subject to supply chain delays. Three floors of the structure are designated for Arcadia Flats residents; remaining spaces will operate on a pay-by-plate basis for other students, employees and visitors.
