WMU to host watch party for football bowl announcements

KALAMAZOO, Mich.—The Western Michigan University football team is hosting a football bowl announcement watch party Sunday, Dec. 4, in University Arena at Read Fieldhouse on main campus.

Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. and fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 2 p.m. General admission is free; there is no reserved seating. Concessions will be available.

Public parking will be available in Lot 13 and the parking ramp on West Michigan Avenue across from the Student Recreation Center.

A press conference featuring WMU Athletic Director Kathy Beauregard, head coach P.J. Fleck, and student-athletes Zach Terrell and Corey Davis will be held following the watch party in the team meeting room at the Brown Alumni Center. It is expected to run from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m. Due to scheduling, there will be no one-on-one interviews at the watch party or press conference.
