Bio:
Dr. Daniela Schröter (in English "Schroeter") is Presidential Innovation Professor and Director of Graduate Programs at Western Michigan University's School of Public Affairs and Administration. Her research focuses on how evaluators choose and apply evaluation approaches and how evaluation contributes to sustainability and evidence-informed decision-making in public and nonprofit organizations. She is a lead developer of the Garden of Evaluation Approaches, a classification framework now used internationally for teaching, capacity building, and practice. Dr. Schröter has led evaluations across five continents and serves on the editorial boards of the American Journal of Evaluation, the Canadian Journal of Program Evaluation, and the Journal of MultiDisciplinary Evaluation.
