Part-Time Instructional Opportunities
The School of Public Affairs and Administration at Western Michigan University seeks qualified part-time instructors for individual courses beginning summer semester (May 2015) and thereafter, for the WMU nationally accredited M.P.A. program in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Lansing, Michigan.
Courses include the following topics in nonprofit, health care and state and local government administration:
- Analytical Methods
- Fund raising and grant writing
- Health services delivery
- Human resources administration
- Intergovernmental relations
- NPO planning and evaluation
- Organization theory and behavior
- Performance, productivity and information technology
- State agency and local government administration
- Supervisory skills
Qualifications include a master’s degree with academic or professional publications, and several years of topic-relevant professional work experience in public, health or nonprofit sectors. Preference will be given to those applicants with earned Ph.D., teaching experience and professional work experience. Compensation is competitive.
