Residence halls support nearly 5,000 students who enjoy the friendships, living/learning focus and diversity of campus life. Residents can take advantage of hall activities, leadership opportunities, staff available 24 hours, dining centers and many additional conveniences.
Western Heights is an innovative new residence hall complex in the center neighborhood. The new freshmen-focused living concept is designed to provide privacy options while encouraging community and socialization.
Spindler Hall is one of WMU's original residence halls located on historic east campus. All 80 Spindler Hall rooms are furnished, and residents have access to community bathrooms, kitchens and laundry facilities.
WMU apartments are conveniently located close to campus. Apartment rent includes most utilities and cable television services. Furnished or unfurnished apartments are available at:

Dining on campus
The Bernhard Café and Market offers a full selection of hot and cold drinks, deli sandwiches, bagels, fresh fruit, nachos, soft pretzels, snack foods and candy. The café serves a complete breakfast and lunch. Homemade soups, vegetarian entrées and a fresh salad bar are included in the lunch menu. To view daily choices, visit the online menu.
The Bronco Mall is a convenient meeting place located in the center of campus, on the lower level of the Bernhard Center. Bronco Mall is home to the food court, Center Stage and several retailers. Enjoy entertainment, an active social environment and national brand food vendors:
WMU Dining Services is designed to provide a wide selection of healthy food choices to the WMU community. Individual meal plans are easily purchased online for use at the various dining centers. Establish a Dining Dollars account online, or add money to your account for use at all WMU Dining Services locations.
WMU Catering offers unique menu plans to suit any social or business function throughout campus and in the community. An assortment of meals are offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner; or beverage and refreshment packages are available for meetings and receptions. WMU Catering professionals will assist in planning the perfect menu for your event.
