Minors
The Department of Biological Sciences at Western Michigan University offers one minor:
- Biological sciences—The biological sciences minor consists of a minimum of 20 credits of biological sciences courses plus chemistry cognates. Ten of these credits must be from the 2000-level or higher courses.
Advising
Advisors facilitate student success by creating an on-going partnership with students and providing knowledge regarding degree requirements and WMU student success resources.
Transfer students
At least 12 hours must be earned at WMU for a minor. Transfer students should consult with the biological sciences undergraduate advisor before registering for classes. Additional transfer information is available from the College of Arts and Sciences.
