Arab American scholarship foundation program - wmu matching scholarship
Western Michigan University offers a scholarship match to students receiving a scholarship from The Arab American Scholarship Foundation Program (AASFP) through Leaders Advancing and Helping Communities (LAHC).
Eligibility
- Live in the state of Michigan and be US citizen or permanent resident of the United States.
- Be enrolled full-time at WMU.
- Receive the Arab American Scholarship Foundation Program Scholarship (above) during the enrollment terms of the WMU match.

WMU will offer up to 10 undergraduate scholarships and up to 10 graduate scholarships for a total investment of up to 20 awards or $40,000 annually, in the following amounts:
- $2,000 for undergraduate students selecting WMU.
- $2,000 for graduate students selecting WMU.
The amount of the WMU matching scholarship will be counted as a part of a student’s overall financial aid package, and may affect eligibility for other forms of financial aid. Therefore, awards vary. Please contact Student Financial Aid for more information.
Berrien Community Foundation: The Dunn Scholarship
This scholarship was established by Jeanne & Eddie R. Dunn and is in Jeanne's memory.
Eligibility
This scholarship is for students who are in at least their first year at Andrews University, Lake Michigan College, Southwestern Michigan College or Western Michigan University in the Berrien County Campus and continuing at one of these schools in any field of study. Preference is given to women in transition (returning to college after raising children, a divorce or widowed with definite goals for the next steps in their lives).

Berrien Community Foundation: Howard Instrumental Music Scholarship
Eligibility
This award is for Berrien County students who are pursuing a degree in instrumental music (Music Ed or Applied Music) at a U.S. college or university with an emphasis on upperclassmen and post-graduate students. Applicants must have at least one year of college completed to apply.

Eligibility
This program is open to students who will be seniors in the field of education and will be student teaching during the upcoming school year. Students must be graduates of a Berrien County high school and attending a Michigan college or university. Candidates must have a “B” average.

Gail and Hilda Oster Scholarship
Eligibility
Van Buren County resident or graduate of a Van Buren County high school pursuing undergraduate degree in education, mathematics or science at Western Michigan University or the University of Michigan, or a graduate student in the College of Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Tech program at Michigan State University or pursuing a degree in medicine at the WMU Homer Stryker MD Medical School.
