Hey Broncos!

We’ve got something exciting to share from the Office of Information Technology—WMU is teaming up with NINJIO, a super cool cybersecurity training platform that turns real-world cyber threats into short, animated stories. Think Netflix meets cybersecurity.

Why are we doing this?

Well, cyber threats are getting sneakier every day, and we want everyone on campus to feel confident and prepared. This new training is part of our bigger plan to build a strong, security-savvy culture here at WMU.

So, what’s the deal?

Starting Tuesday, October 28, all faculty and staff will be automatically enrolled in this new training. But don’t worry—it’s not your typical boring, hour-long slideshow.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Quick episodes: Each one is about 4 minutes long.
  • Real stories: Based on actual cyber incidents.
  • Easy quiz: Just a short true/false quiz after each episode.
  • Certificate: Pass the quiz and you’ll get a Certificate of Completion. Didn’t pass? No stress—you can rewatch and try again.

You’ll get an email from no-reply@goninjio.com with your training link. Just click, watch, and learn something useful to protect both your work and personal tech.
