Student Census Date

The census date typically marks the end of the add/drop period for the semester. This is the date we take a "snapshot" of all students' enrollment to establish the "official enrollment" for reporting purposes and financial aid eligibility. The classes for which students' are registered as of the census date determine the amount of federal financial aid they will receive. More information on this policy is located in the eligibility sections of our website.

New Scholarship Website and Application Tool

The Student Financial Aid office has updated their scholarships and grants webpages with new menu titles and links to better assist in scholarship navigation. We also implemented a new tool for students for applying for internal and external scholarships. This new tool will help match students with opportunities they might be well suited for https://wmich.scholarshipuniverse.com.
