2019 Department of Business Information Systems Outstanding Alumni Award

In his role as vice president, security risk management, global customer support services, at the Oracle Corporation, Brennan Baybeck leads a global team that addresses IT security risk management for one of the largest lines of business at the company. He is responsible for leading security, privacy and availability for customer-facing services, as well as global IT’s key enterprise IT services, including cloud initiatives.

He has more than 25 years of experience in IT security, governance, risk, audit and consulting. Baybeck has worked in various industries designing, implementing and operating enterprise-wide programs to address global security risks.

He has held leadership positions at Sun Microsystems, StorageTek and Qwest Communications in addition to serving as an information security risk consulting director for a large services firm. For more than 25 years, he has been actively involved with the Information Systems Audit and Control Association, having served as a chapter board leader, chair and board director. He currently serves as chair for the ISACA International Board of Directors.
